This page describes 3-axis vertical machining centers with a C-shaped structure. In this structure, the Y-axis is formed in the front-to-back direction of the operator on the bed, and the X-axis is formed on the Y-axis slide. The table moves left and right along the X-axis. A Z-axis is formed along the column in the vertical direction, and the mill spindle moves up and down along the Z-axis. The table on which the workpiece is mounted is usually rectangular.
